Water, Sanitation & Hygiene

Water and sanitation are essential for human health, survival, and dignity. Access to safe drinking water is critical for human health, as contaminated water can lead to a range of illnesses and diseases. Also, clean water is essential for hydration, cooking, and hygiene. On the other hand, proper sanitation facilities such as latrines and purified water are important for preventing the spread of diseases and infections. Lack of sanitation can lead to the spread of diseases like cholera, typhoid, and diarrhea, which can be deadly, especially in areas with limited access to healthcare. Having understood the importance of these basic necessities among underprivileged families, so far, Islamic Relief has provided 1150 water connection to enable vulnerable families to access clean drinking water.

This intervention is being implemented successfully with the coordination of respective officials from Divisional Secretariats.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
