Under the project, Islamic Relief’s Covid-19 Adaptation and Recovery through WASH and Education facilities (i-Empower), a water purification plant was recently built and handed over to the Madurangala village community in Welikanda division, Polonnaruwa district. Through this plant, approximately 500 families will now have access to purified clean drinking water.
