Islamic Relief Sri Lanka organized an awareness session on Protection and Inclusion for 30 parents and 29 students from Rajagalathenna school in Uhana DS division. The session was held on February 28th, 2023, under the project “Islamic Relief’s Catch-up & Return to Education Through Better Learning Environment in Sri Lanka (i-CARES)” and was funded by Islamic Relief Canada.

The session provided an opportunity for parents and students to learn about the importance of protecting children and creating an inclusive learning environment for all. Through the i-CARES project, Islamic Relief Sri Lanka is committed to improving the educational opportunities and well-being of vulnerable children in Sri Lanka, and this session is just one example of their ongoing efforts. By providing education and support to parents and students, Islamic Relief Sri Lanka hopes to create a safer and more inclusive learning environment for all children in the country
