Islamic Relief’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) unit conducted a lesson-learned and review workshop for the Islamic Relief’s Covid-19 Adaptation and Recovery through WASH and Education facilities (i-Empower) project on 15th March 2023. The project’s stakeholders, including community members, project management staff and local authorities, gathered to evaluate the performance of the water purification plant and discuss the lessons learned from the project’s implementation process.

The workshop was an opportunity to identify challenges faced during the project’s implementation, share best practices, and assess the overall impact of the project on the community. The insights and recommendations gathered from the workshop will inform future project planning and ensure that the community’s needs are met effectively. The i-Empower project has been instrumental in providing access to clean drinking water, and the lesson-learned and review workshop further ensured the sustainability and success of the project’s impact
