Access to education and conducive learning environment are essential for a child’s development and brighter future. This is particularly crucial in the childhood of vulnerable children. Considering the diverse needs of children among vulnerable families, so far, Islamic Relief has provided 800 bicycles among students who are unable to own a bicycle. In addition, 1300 students are supported with shoes, school bag and stationary as learning support materials through ongoing intervention. Further, Islamic Relief also provides 5000 food packs to students. Apart from, Islamic Relief assists 10 schools by supporting library renovation, laboratory renovation and providing sports equipment and water sanitation facilities.
This intervention is being implemented successfully with the coordination of respective Divisional Secretariat officials and respective Zonal and Provincial Directors of Education.
