Vimukthi Dayananda is one of the right holders of the 1-2-1 Orphan Sponsorship Program at Islamic Relief Sri Lanka. He has been receiving sponsorship since 2007 for his education. He has now completed his Bachelor of Law (LLB), passed the Attorney-at-Law exam, and is practicing as a legal assistant.

Lalani Visaka lives in Navagampura, Ampara District. She is one of the beneficiaries of Islamic Relief’s ‘Improving the living conditions of Orphan’s families and their communities in Ampara district, Sri Lanka – ILOCA’ Livelihood project. Her husband passed away 12 years ago, and after that, she had a difficult time with her child and her mother.

Islamic Relief helped her a lot. She was running a clothing business through the ILOCA project, and Islamic Relief provided assistance to her to make a shop. Additionally, Islamic Relief helped with her child’s education through the Orphan Sponsorship Programme (OSP).
